A player who has really come into his own since being given the opportunity of first-team football at East End Park.
A strong, intelligent defender, Wilson has formed an excellent defensive partnership with Andrius Skerla, both playing a big part in the most defensively sound Pars team in recent years.
Although the second-half of his season was plagued by injury, season 2003/03 was an excellent campaign for Wilson in terms of his performances, including one against Hearts where he headed home the winner in a 2-1 victory.
The recent financial troubles at East End Park looked to be bringing a premature end to the big centre-half's time at the Pars however management and supporters alike were delighted when he put pen-to-paper on a new three-year deal at the club.
