Dunfermline V Livingston at East End Park - Match Preview

Geggan missing for Pars

Dunfermline have ruled out Andy Geggan for their home clash with Livingston due to an ankle injury.

The Pars are also sweating over the fitness of Callum Morris, who has a groin problem, and Andrew Barrowman (hamstring).

Manager Jim Jefferies can call on Josh Falkingham again after suspension, Shaun Byrne has returned from youth-team duty in Cyprus and Ryan Wallace has been declared fit.

Assistant manager Gerry McCabe said: "I watched Livingston last week at Morton and when they get the ball and attack you they are a very dangerous side.

"We won comfortably 4-0 against them the last time they were here, but they beat us at their place recently so we cannot take anything for granted."

Livingston will include teenage defender Coll Donaldson in their squad.

The 17-year-old, who spent last week training with Manchester United, could play some part, but Keaghan Jacobs, Jason Talbot and Paul Watson are all sidelined due to knee injuries and Ross Docherty has a groin problem.

Head coach Gareth Evans said: "This is another tough test on the road just a week after facing Morton.

"We played well for long periods in that game and will need to try and do that for the entire 90 minutes against a strong Dunfermline side.

"They have good players and beat us 4-0 in our last meeting at their place, but we beat them at our's recently so we have nothing to fear."
