Three and easy for ParsDunfermline claimed their third victory in a row with a comfortable 3-0 win over fellow promotion chasers Ayr.After a manic opening minute in which both sides went close, Ross Forbes gave the home team the lead with a fine strike from distance in the eighth minute.The midfielder played a crucial part in the second goal too, as his shot hit the post before finding Lawrence Shankland inside the area who had a simple tap in to make it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time.The Pars rounded off the win with another goal from Shankland, again set up by Forbes but it was a fine finish from the striker for his fifth goal of the seasonSource : PA
