Raith emerged victorious in their top of the table clash at home to Dunfermline, seeing off the First Division leaders 2-1.
The scoreline remained goalless at the break but Gregory Tade`s 70th-minute winner proved the difference after Nick Phinn had quickly cancelled out Mark Campbell`s opener for the hosts.
A pretty much pedestrian first half passed by between the two promotion hopefuls, with very little to report in the way of goalmouth action.
But all that changed within three minutes at the start of the second half.
Campbell met Scott McBride`s inswinging delivery to send Raith into a 51st-minute lead from close range.
But it was quickly 1-1 as Phinn latched onto a pass from Paul Willis to convert from 12 yards.
However the home side hit back to claim all three points thanks to Tade`s effort which found a bottom corner from the edge of the area, moving Rovers to within one point of Dunfermline.
